What plumbing costs
Every job is different, so we price it after we've seen it. Here's how that works and what changes the price.
You agree the price before work starts
No work begins until you've said yes. If we find something that changes the price, we stop and ask.
Priced on the visit
Taps, toilets, leaking joints, outside taps and similar jobs. We look, tell you the price, and can usually fix it there and then.
Written quote
Bathrooms, showers, new pipework and radiators get a written quote listing what's included, so you can compare like for like.
Explained on the phone
When you call with an emergency, we explain how the call-out is charged before we set off.
What changes the price
Two jobs that sound the same can be quite different once we see them. These are the things that make the biggest difference.
Ways to keep the cost down
Questions about cost
Can you give me a price over the phone?
For simple jobs we can often give you a rough idea. A firm price comes once we've seen it.
Who pays if I rent?
Usually your landlord. We can send the quote and invoice to them or their agent.
Will my insurance cover a leak?
That depends on your policy. We can give you a written description of what we found and fixed to send to your insurer.
